Structured Credit CLO Associate (2nd - 6th Year)

About the role

Paul Hastings is seeking Associates with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience to join the Structured Credit CLO team in New York. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team and be a key member of deal teams in a leading structured finance practice and have extensive client contact and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with deal teams on CLO and other securitization transactions, asset-based lending transactions (bilateral and syndicated), and other sophisticated finance transactions.
• Work closely with clients, including leading international investment banks and asset managers.
• Show entrepreneurial and innovative qualities, aligning with the firm’s clients.
• Gain CLO experience to contribute effectively to the team.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the jurisdiction where hired.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in structured finance or related fields.
• Experience in CLO transactions preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
