RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Supervise and coordinate activities of foremen and their assigned craft workers
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
- Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel
- Study and analyze schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job
- Analyze and resolve work problems
- Maintain time records
- Make cost estimates for contracts
- Use logical step-by-step procedures in work
- Plan work and solve problems
- Make decisions based on measurable information
- Operate machinery as needed
- Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
- Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of five (5) years related experience
- Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, detail orientation, ability to work according to detailed, standard instructions and well-defined, established procedures
- Ability to determine work method from alternatives, work under broad assignments, active listening skills, and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback
- Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
