Structural Supervising Engineer
Job Description
Parsons is now hiring a Senior-level Bridge Engineer for bridge projects in the State of Georgia and the surrounding region. This role involves working on various bridge engineering and design projects, including suspension, cable-stayed, arch, truss, cantilever, beam girder bridges - both steel and concrete.
Responsibilities
- Assure that bridges are designed in accordance with approved Federal, State, and local agency requirements as well as AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, practices, and procedures.
- Deliverables may include structural designs for single span, multiple spans, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, precast concrete, and steel bridges.
- Provide structural specifications, estimating, quantity calculations, technical reports, and detailed engineering analyses.
- Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years or more of design, design-build or alternative project delivery experience on bridge highway infrastructure.
- Steel and concrete bridge design experience is essential.
- Experience with bridge design for roadway systems is essential.

Pay
Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
