Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle management, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
  • Lead project planning sessions and manage project resources.
  • Coordinate staff and internal resources, ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and determine project changes.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Manage large and diverse teams, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Develop and manage detailed project budgets and control expenditures.
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
  • Evaluate and assess the results of the project.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of proven experience in project management in the construction industry, preferably in steel fabrication.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability in contract management, budgeting, and decision-making.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, quality standards, and safety codes.
  • Experience with construction management software.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Pay

$120,000 - $135,000 per year
