Primary Responsibilities
- Manage structural steel projects from contract award through final completion
- Coordinate detailing, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and field erection activities
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Review contracts, specifications, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Maintain project cost control, monitor labor productivity, and manage material procurement
- Cope with shop management and field superintendents to ensure project success
- Negotiate and manage change orders and project scope modifications
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and clients
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Qualifications
- Experience as a Structural Steel Project Manager or recent graduate with a construction management degree
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, or large-scale construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of AISC standards and industry best practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $135,000 DOE

Early Career Candidates
- Recent graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field are encouraged to apply
