STRUCTURAL SPECIAL INSPECTOR

About the role

Successful candidate will perform Structural Special Inspections and other inspections for concrete, masonry, steel, and wood structures; in addition, the candidate will review and maintain Quality Control of shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform Structural Special Inspections
• Review and maintain Quality Control of shop drawings

Requirements

• Three years’ experience with Structural Special Inspections
• Demonstrated ability to review and QC shop drawings
• Proficient with applicable IBC codes ICC, ACI or applicable certification CWI

Preferred but not required

• Able to regularly lift/move up to 75 pounds
• Commitment to maintaining personal and jobsite safety
• Independent transportation (mileage reimbursement)
• Satisfactory driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proven ability to work as a team, treat people with respect, communicate effectively
