About the role
ECS is seeking a Structural Senior Project Associate to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities
- Manage structural engineering and consulting projects from setup through completion.
- Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
- Interface with clients regularly and lead project meetings and discussions.
- Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
- Develop testing plans and direct specialized structural testing programs.
- Prepare structural engineering reports, perform analysis, and provide recommendations.
- Document and report findings, conclusions, and recommended actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred or ability to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of building science, building enclosure systems, and construction practices.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and structural or architectural systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and consulting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
