An opportunity exists for a Structural Practice Team Leader in the Minneapolis, MN office to manage a high‑performing team, lead project design, mentor staff, and work directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and responsibility of projects, pursuits, and staff within the Structural discipline of our Minneapolis office.
• Project/Team oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, team financial management, and project staffing/work‑sharing with other offices.
• The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi‑disciplined team.
• Business development activities such as marketing, proposals and client development.
• Client management, including abilities to negotiate contracts and develop client engagement activities.
• Professional society involvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the structural design of commercial buildings.
• PE license in MN required.
• Experience with business development activities such as marketing, proposals and client development.
• Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
• Experience in leading and mentoring staff for career development and advancement.
• Knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
