YOUR MISSION
This is a generational opportunity to architect a solution to some of the most challenging mission sets in missile defense, not to mention aerospace engineering as a whole.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and enforce processes and standards ensuring structural integrity across the SBI program.
- Develop and validate structural models and manage structural margins across configuration while defining and maintaining fracture control, fatigue, creep, and damage tolerance methodologies.
- Establish the processes by which verification and test activities related to structural integrity are performed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years experience developing and managing Fracture Control Plans and performing structural analysis using FEM methods
- Proven leadership in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program
- Ability to scale analytical rigor to match program maturity and risk
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate across hardware and software boundaries
- Expertise with NASTRAN, ABAQUS, NASGRO or comparable analysis tools
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
- U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
- Experience with missile defense or space vehicle programs
- Strong track record leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing design-to-delivery cycles
- Background in systems engineering or technical program management
- T&S/SCI clearance
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $150,000-$255,000

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work Location—Successful candidates will be located near Denver or Colorado Springs. While we observe a hybrid work environment, some work must be done on site.
