Responsibilities
- Conduct calculations and analyses to support the design of prefabricated structures.
- Use advanced engineering techniques and software to evaluate the strength and stability of these structures.
- Ensure that prefabricated structures meet all relevant codes and regulations.
- Could be open to hybrid position dependent on where candidates are located.
Qualifications
- Civil/Structural Engineering background.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
- Experience with Structural Calculations, Steel and Wood analysis, Component calculations (roofing, sheathing, fasteners, etc.).
- Experience with Building Construction Design, Basic experience with related MEP design elements.
- Software experience; Excel, CAD (for mark-ups), RISA and/or similar Structural Design tools.
- Ability to communicate and work with teams in Engineering, Sales, Estimating, Production, etc.
