About the Role

As a Structural Engineering Professional, you will be an integral member of the design team, assisting in the performance of structural analysis and design for advanced technology industrial projects. You will work closely with your Structural Lead, other engineers, designers, and disciplines to develop design concepts, complete analysis and design, and communicate structural requirements. Responsibilities

• Competently perform all conventional aspects of structural engineering and analysis under general supervision.
• Develop judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria with guidance.
• Build problem-solving skills and seek guidance when questions arise.
• Develop knowledge of seismic design principles and apply required building code provisions.
• Exhibit high attention to detail and quality control, checking your own work and that of other engineers.
• Take responsibility for managing workload, meeting commitments, and owning assigned work.
• Work on tasks with ill-defined conditions, taking initiative to meet project and client needs.
• Define your scope and forecast the effort needed to complete it; identify and escalate scope changes.
• Recognize when help is needed and collaborate with peers and senior engineers.
• Work in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.
• Perform field walks, which may include climbing ladders, crawling under raised access floors, or extended periods of walking/standing.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License.
• Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Experience in semiconductor industrial or general industrial facilities.
• Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $125,600.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

This position is considered hybrid/remote and may require you to work in the nearest local office or from your home in the USA Southeast Region (AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MO, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA). You may also be asked to support work in other offices, including Temporary Duty Assignments.
