Structural Engineering Professional Associate

Description

Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and with clients.
Perform calculations of structural systems, (hand calculations, computer aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling analysis (STAAD)).
Assist in creation of contract drawings via providing drawing input to structural designer

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters of Science in Civil/Structuring Engineering
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in engineering design of building structural systems
• Demonstrated experience in the structural design for steel and concrete structures on a variety of projects
• Advanced working proficiency in STAAD Pro
• Working knowledge of Revit
• Solid working knowledge of building codes and other applicable structural codes
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Pay & Schedule

$50.00 - $70.00/hr
W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits
ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment
