Structural Engineering Internship - Rail Bridge

About the role

As a Structural Engineering Intern on the Rail Bridge team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You'll be part of a team, working for our clients on projects involving railroad bridges and supporting structures, with our most experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Basic project design through CAD drafting
• Performing research
• Traveling to job sites for observation as needed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or architectural engineering (structural emphasis)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail
