Your Impact Perform structural engineering design and analyses for tunnels and underground structures under the supervision of senior engineersDesign and analysis of reinforced concrete, steelwork, tunnel linings Underground subway station framing design and analysisField inspection of existing underground structuresField inspection of constructionAssist in the preparation of drawings, studies and designs of underground projectsAssist task leaders in preparation of reports and Contract Documents Who You Are Required Qualifications B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering3-5 years of post-education experience in structural or tunnel engineering practiceStrong background in structural analysis, familiar with structural engineering software such as SAP2000, STAAD and spColumnFamiliar with CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation or RevitGood understanding and knowledge of structural engineering and related disciplines (structures, civil, geotechnical, and planning)Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with other disciplines, managers, and other staff)Ability and willingness to travel and perform field work Preferred Qualifications: EIT preferredM.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural EngineeringInternship(s) applying structural engineering skills WSP Benefits: WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
