Structural Engineer/Sr. Engineer (Ph.D.)

About the role

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer/Associate for our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Atlanta, GA; Menlo Park, CA; Irvine, CA; Oakland, CA; Denver, CO; Warrenville, IL; Houston, TX; or New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team conducting analytical and computer problem-solving
• Perform experimental field investigations and diagnostic surveys
• Maintain client relations
• Inspect, analyze, and determine root causes of structural performance failures
• Perform quantitative risk analysis for structures
• Prepare technical reports and presentations
• Earn professional expertise through continued professional development

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus, or related field
• P.E. or S.E. license or the ability to become licensed
• Excellent creative problem-solving ability
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as lead and work in multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to gather information from and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and industry

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process. Salary Range: USD $117,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
