Responsibilities

  • Aid in the management and direction of projects
  • Create complete sets of structural drawings and technical specifications independently
  • Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering
  • Perform structural design calculations, plan production activities, and prepare project document submittal packages, ensuring a Quality Control program for the project
  • Support and provide assistance during the construction phase of building projects in structural engineering
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design team members to present and discuss project opportunities
  • Identify project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of relevant engineering design experience
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup for producing drawings and details
  • Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and other relevant tools
  • A strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines
  • A detail-oriented team player capable of contributing positively to a work environment
  • The ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and technical skills, with a continuous focus on personal and professional development
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
