STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Structural design for new construction and tenant improvement including wood, concrete, masonry, steel construction, etc.
• Quality assurance regarding technical and clerical staff
• Structural investigations of existing buildings
• Design and coordination of all aspects of the contract documents including foundations, floors, roofs, repairs, etc.
• Application of technical support, daily review of field reports, monitoring job progress, performance, and budgetary considerations
• Attending project site meetings and assisting with the resolution of both technical and administrative problems
• Preparing proposals for new projects
• Representing the firm at marketing and business development events
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience as an Arizona P.E./S.E. California P.E. license preferred
• Experience with Ram, Enercalc, Excel, AutoCad, Revit, MS Office Suite, etc
• Demonstrated success meeting deadlines with minimum supervision
• Experience will all phases of a project including proposals, construction documents, construction administration, structural special inspections
• Some experience with marketing, business development and project management
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team, communicate professionally in stressful environments, and work several projects simultaneously
• Proven commitment to treating people with respect
• Ability to pass background check
