About the role
Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture or maintenance of mechanical systems. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Work under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Use AutoCAD or Revit for engineering tasks
- Understand and apply structural analysis and behavior
- Comply with engineering design codes like IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, or ACI
- Utilize structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, or RISA
- Communicate effectively and collaborate on technical teams
- Pay strict attention to detail
- Obtain a Secret clearance

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
- Experience with structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, RISA)
- Experience in structural engineering
- Exposure to finite-element modeling or nonlinear structural analysis
- Experience with BIM workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
