About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Marine Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious infrastructure projects in North America, collaborating with experts in various fields.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks on projects requiring a broad and deep knowledge in structural engineering, bridge engineering, or marine infrastructure.
  • Conduct structural analysis and design, including reinforced and pre-stressed concrete design, steel design, timber design, deep foundations, gravity-based foundations, earth retaining structures, etc.
  • Handle projects or parts of projects based on your level of expertise and experience.
  • Implement design best practices in areas of expertise, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Prepare and review calculations for analysis, preparing engineering reports and memoranda.
  • Prepare construction drawings and other documents, such as technical specifications.
  • Perform construction administration activities, including site inspections and other tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Hold an M.S. or higher degree in Structural Engineering, along with a minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a professional setting as a structural engineer.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E. or P.Eng.) license.
  • Structural engineering experience should be in at least one of marine infrastructure (ports, harbors), coastal engineering, bridges, tunnels, or other heavy civils.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and perform required fieldwork.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, along with great relationship-building skills.

Pay

Base compensation: $103,200 - $159,600 for the Oakland location. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set, and/or location.

Schedule

This is a Regular, Full-time position.
