About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, working with various stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable transportation solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in urban planning, traffic engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze traffic flow models to inform infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with urban planners, engineers, and community members to gather input on transportation needs.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies in transportation planning.
- Assist in the development and implementation of public outreach programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS software.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with traffic simulation software.
- Understanding of sustainable transportation concepts and best practices.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
