About the Role
This position is a senior-level role, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership in civil engineering projects. You will oversee the design, planning, and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects, drive innovation, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform building sizing and selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables.
- Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.
- Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.
- Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
- Prepare, review, and approve foundation, structural steel, building, and earthwork calculations, requisitions, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs.
Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or related field.
- Five or more (5+) years of experience required.
- Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in civil engineering principles and practices, particularly in the energy sector.
- Advanced proficiency in emerging civil engineering software and tools.
- Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability considerations.
- Advanced proficiency in geotechnical and structural engineering principles.
- In-depth knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills—written and verbal.
- High level of personal integrity.
- Strong relationship capabilities.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
