Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in the management and direction of projects
• Create complete sets of structural drawings and technical specifications independently
• Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering
• Carry out structural design calculations, organize project activities, and prepare project documentation submissions, while ensuring a Quality Control program for the entire project
• Support and assist in construction phases for building projects in structural engineering
• Participate in meetings and presentations with clients, contractors, and design team members
• Identify project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant engineering design experience
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup for drawing and detail creation
• Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and others
• A strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines
• A detail-oriented team player capable of contributing to a positive work environment
• The ability to multitask and handle various projects concurrently
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous focus on personal and staff development
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
