Job Details
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer for a client with offices in Wichita, KS and Kansas City.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for various types of buildings and facilities including all types of commercial structures, ensuring all designs meet applicable codes and standards.
- Utilize specialized software such as Revit for the creation and modification of 3D structural models.
- Cook up with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of structural projects.
- Conduct site inspections to assess the condition of structures and recommend necessary improvements or modifications.
- Provide technical guidance to junior designers
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification or EIT certification is required
- A minimum of 3 years in structural engineering with commercial project experience
- Proficiency in using Revit and other structural engineering software
- Experience in designing and analyzing structures made of various materials, including concrete and masonry
