Structural Engineer
Duties
- Develop and define project scope with sponsors.
- Work with a project team to develop specifications, cost estimates, drawing reviews, and provide engineering support during the construction phase for buildings and utility projects.
- Oversee architectural engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates.
- Cook up and coordinate interactions with facility staff and contractors.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Structural Engineering.
- Experience performing structural engineering tasks, including the development of contract documents, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Working knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Experience in construction administration (submittal review, RFIs, construction inspections, etc.).
- Active or recently active DOE or DOD Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT certificate and/or P.E. License
- Engineering consulting experience
- Working knowledge of the NEC

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $90,000 and $200,000 annually.
