Structural Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a well-qualified structural engineer to join our team remotely, working at an office near or in the city where this job is posted. The ideal candidate appreciates variety in their work, as we provide services across numerous types of projects and niches within structural engineering. This is primarily a design engineering position with a workload consisting of 60% engineering and calculations, 30% drafting, and 10% field/site visits.
Responsibilities include design, engineering, drafting, client relations, project inspections, and site meetings, covering all tasks from project inception to completion.

- Structural design and engineering of heavy civil structures and/or large commercial structures

Requirements
- Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution
- 2+ years minimum post-graduation experience working for a professional engineering firm (internships not included)
- E.I. or P.E. certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD 2016 or later
- Experience with Risa 2D/3D or similar structural analysis software
- Solidworks or similar FEA experience is a plus
