Job Duties
- Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
- Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Conduct structural calculations and apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI
- Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines on structural designs
- Support senior engineers on large facility projects
- Review shop drawings, respond to Request for Information (RFIs), and provide construction phase support
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 0+ Years of experience (Engineer I) or 2-5+ Years of experience (Engineer II)
- Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design
- EIT certification preferred
- Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience using AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
- Experience with industry standards such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI
Pay
Salary Range: Engineer Level 1- $75K - $80K
Engineer Level 2- $87K - $110K
