Structural Engineer

Job Title: Structural Engineer I (EIT)Job Description We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer I (EIT) to join our Tucson-based consulting engineering team. In this role, you will support the design and analysis of a variety of commercial, industrial, educational, government, and infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer with a strong technical foundation in structural design and a desire to work closely with experienced Professional Engineers in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.Assist in the preparation of construction documents, calculations, specifications, and reports.Develop structural plans and details utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit.Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project teams.Conduct site visits, field investigations, and structural assessments as needed.Support project managers with project delivery, scheduling, and construction administration.Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction.Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards. Essential Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design tools.Strong foundation in structural engineering principles.Experience in structural analysis and design.Ability to work collaboratively with project teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications EIT certification required.Experience with Revit is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
