Structural Engineer | Associate/Associate Principal
About the role
This position involves seismic design, seismic evaluation, and retrofit of existing buildings in regions of high seismicity. Candidates should have extensive experience in these areas.
Responsibilities
- Seismic design of new and existing structures
- Seismic evaluation of existing buildings
- Retrofitting of existing buildings to meet seismic standards
- Collaboration with architects and engineers on seismic projects
- Managing or coordinating architectural/engineering/construction projects
- Experience with OSHPD projects
- Proficiency in relevant modeling applications
Requirements
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering
- California-licensed architect or engineer
- California Structural Engineering license
- At least 10 years of experience in seismic design, seismic evaluation, and retrofit of existing buildings in regions of high seismicity
Qualifications
- Experience managing or coordinating architectural/engineering/construction projects
- Experience working on OSHPD projects
- Proficiency in relevant modeling applications
Skills
- Strong knowledge of seismic engineering principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
