  • Provide engineering interpretation and technical support to construction teams; assist with RFIs, field changes, clashes, non‑conformance items, and corrective actions.
  • Review structural models, drawings, and existing field conditions to identify potential constructability issues and provide practical recommendations.
  • Apply structural engineering knowledge and independent judgment to evaluate field conditions, make appropriate technical assumptions, and develop solutions to project‑related issues.
  • Collaborate with structural engineers, construction managers, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of field issues.
  • Participate in pre‑construction meetings and communicate critical structural design requirements before construction activities begin.
  • Identify opportunities to improve structural details, designs, construction methods, and overall constructability based on field observations and project experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering/design and/or construction execution involving buildings or facilities.
  • Experience supporting high‑tech, industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, solar, battery, or similar large‑scale facilities is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Working knowledge of applicable U.S. building codes and structural design standards.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices involving structural steel and concrete.
  • Previous experience with construction management, construction support, construction administration, field engineering, or construction QA/QC.
  • Familiarity with Revizto and/or Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Revit Structure is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound technical judgment, and operate effectively with limited supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple field issues and priorities in a fast‑paced construction environment.
