About the Role
This role involves performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures, mechanical systems, and equipment. The work will be conducted by hand and through the use of automated methods and procedures approved for the program. The position requires collaboration within a team environment and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses on airframe structures, mechanical systems, and equipment.
- Derive non-flight applied loads.
- Create, extract, and distribute internal loads using tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter.
- Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve project results.
- Prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project goals.
- Comprehend and analyze complex problems to develop viable solutions.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the program.
- Education & Experience: One of the following is required:
- A Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- A Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 8 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- A Ph.D. degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- Experience with tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DOD Secret Clearance.
