Structural Designer/Engineer

About the role

The Structural Designer/Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for various projects. They will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that all designs meet safety and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Designs and analyzes structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
• Collaborates with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with safety and code requirements
• Prepares detailed drawings and specifications for structural components
• Performs calculations and analyses to optimize structural performance
• Reviews and approves subcontractor’s work related to structural aspects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficient in using structural analysis software such as SAP2000 or ETABS
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
