Structural Designer

Position Title

About the role

The Structural Designer position is located at the Aurora Commitment Center 4140 Campus Drive, Aurora, IL 60504.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for a variety of merchandising displays and packaging, create prototypes, and ensure manufacturing feasibility.
• Prepare detailed files and specifications optimized for manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production and cost-effectiveness.
• Design with an emphasis on cost efficiency while adhering to high-quality standards.
• Work closely with Design team members and individuals across departments to drive solutions.
• Manage Design Projects: Oversee multiple projects from initial concept through completion, effectively managing timelines.
• Proficient understanding of industry trends, retailer requirements, and manufacturing capabilities to deliver innovative and practical solutions.

Requirements

• BS or BA in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years industry experience preferred.
• Experience in point-of-purchase display and packaging design.
• Advanced level proficiency of ArtiosCAD and display manufacturing.
• Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Independent thinking and action required.
• Graphic design experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Preferred Competencies: Customer Focus, Action Oriented, Functional/technical skills, Nimble learning.

Skills
