About the role
A Structural Designer is needed to perform routine structural engineering assignments under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Engineering of various structures such as steel, concrete, masonry and wood-frame
- Perform CAD/BIM drafting of engineering designs
- Site visits to inspect/measure existing building conditions
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong personal organizational and time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and work with a group and on an individual basis
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Projects, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
- 2-5 years of experience in structural design
- AutoCAD experience
- Revit experience
Certifications/Licenses
- EI Certification preferred
