What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of steel skidded structures and develop installation and anchoring plans for static and dynamic equipment.
- Lead the project from concept through final design, installation, and handover to the operations team.
- Support the projects/maintenance team in developing and reviewing rigging plans and modifications to existing installed skids.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to ramp up large-scale production lines.
What You'll Bring
- Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in structural engineering as it relates to projects; resolve problems of greater scope and complexity.
- Conduct structural analysis and design of steel structures, along with the creation of justifying structural calculations.
- Make technical assumptions, think independently to complete assigned work, and draw conclusions based on engineering judgement.
- Oversee collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work from multiple disciplines/firms.
- Review and approve structural models, calculations reports, and drawings submitted by external contractors.
- Ensure steel structures weight is optimized.
- Prepare a variety of engineering deliverables for multiple or large projects, including creating drawings and scope of work documents for fabrication/installation of Skids.
- Develop structural and mechanical designs for equipment connections, piping systems, and installation scopes, ensuring seamless integration with overall structural frameworks.
