Structural Design Engineer

About the role

The Structural Design Engineer is responsible for designing and analyzing structural components and systems for various projects. This includes creating detailed drawings and specifications, collaborating with other engineers, and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed structural designs and analysis reports
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers
• Ensure all designs meet safety and regulatory requirements
• Review and approve subcontractor’s work
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with project management tools
• Strong attention to detail
