Structural / Civil / Geotechnical Engineer

About the Role

This position supports power generation facilities, including hydro, thermal, and renewable energy sites, with a focus on structural, civil, and geotechnical engineering. The role involves hybrid work with regular travel to facilities and is ideal for candidates with strong engineering, analytical, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct integrity assessments, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Develop engineering designs, specifications, and project schedules.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost analyses.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment.
• Oversee small to medium projects, including contract administration and construction inspections.
• Update engineering documentation and lead project teams.
• Perform technical, economic, and regulatory analyses.
• Prepare RFPs and evaluate proposals.
• Participate in long-term budgeting.
• Lead project execution and maintain documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 2 years.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dam safety monitoring.
