Structural CADD/REVIT Technician
POSITION SUMMARY
Ideal candidate will possess a minimum 3 years of experience preparing AutoCAD design drawings in Auto Cad as well as REVIT models for municipal, commercial, and industrial facilities. A thorough understanding of Auto Cad and REVIT is required. Experience drawing building layouts, floor plans, foundation plans, framing plans, wall sections and details. Experience with creating REVIT libraries, using BIM360 and coordinating drawings between multiple disciplines is a plus. The candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills that will enable them to communicate with engineering design staff as well as generate the proper Drawing notations.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Develop 2D Auto Cad drawings and 3D REVIT Models for building construction documentation.
- Work with manager and design staff to generate plans; section and details based on design discussions.
- Manage drawing sets.
- Assist with development of as-built drawings by performing field measurements.
- Work includes updates and corrections to drawings of structural, water, wastewater, electrical and plumbing systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Experienced in Auto Cad.
- Experienced in REVIT.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Capable of multitasking.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent. Two year technical or associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Construction Technology (preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use. May occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
