About the role

The Structural Assistant Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of structural engineering projects from inception through completion. This position involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing structural engineering projects.
• Cook up with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to maintain project efficiency.
• Inspect structural design documents and drawings for accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.
• Support risk management efforts by identifying potential issues and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
• Assist in procurement processes and vendor management related to structural materials and services.
