Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of related post-graduate experience in the field
- Commercial construction project experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
- Michigan Builders License required
- Health and Safety training, including CPR/First Aid Certification and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training required
- Procore and Bluebeam experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely delivery and alignment with client objectives
- Oversee subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and performance to drive successful execution of project deliverables
- Monitor construction progress and ensure all milestones are achieved within scope, budget, and timeline constraints
- Lead project meetings with stakeholders to provide progress updates, address challenges, and coordinate next steps
- Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, and leadership to align operational execution with strategic objectives
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders efficiently to ensure accurate documentation and minimize disruptions
- Conduct QA/QC reviews to verify project deliverables meet specifications, design standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and promote a zero-incident safety culture through regular site inspections
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records, including schedules, financials, and compliance documentation
