Structural and Mechanical Technician

About the role

The Structural and Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to structural and mechanical maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair structural components of buildings and facilities.
• Assist in the installation and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Perform routine inspections and tests on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in structural and mechanical maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay
