Struct & Payload Design Engineer
Position Responsibilities
Affords support in developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
Develops, maintains, and modifies basic structural and interior payload system and component designs, utilizing 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
Performs tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Affords support in supplier development, test, and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
Affords support in investigating emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- 1+ years’ experience in Aircraft Design
- 1+ years’ experience in Aircraft Structures
- 1+ years’ experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

- Dassault Systems CATIA (Computer Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application)
- Model-Based Definition (MBD)

- Level 2: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Confidential Clearance Post-Start is required.
