Responsibilities

• The Stroke Coordinator for Mission Hospital is responsible for the development and maintenance of the quality of care delivered to stroke patients and their movement across the continuum of care.
• Serves as a clinical expert and resource to patient and family, nursing staff, other clinical staff, physicians and the community.
• Works in collaboration with various medical, clinical and administrative staff to achieve desired outcomes and compliance with evidence based practice, requirements from The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS and other accrediting bodies.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing or other related field
• Required License
