Stroke Development Swim Instructor

About the Role

British Swim School is looking for an enthusiastic Stroke Development Instructor to join our team at our Delafield location. This role is perfect for someone with strong swimming technique who enjoys coaching and encouraging swimmers as they build endurance, refine strokes, and gain confidence in the water. While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Teach and refine freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly techniques
• Motivate and encourage swimmers to build endurance and confidence
• Work primarily with preschool and elementary-aged children
• Create a comfortable and supportive environment for parents and students

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly
• Passion for teaching and motivating swimmers
• Positive energy, patience, and great communication skills
• Experience coaching or teaching swim lessons is a plus
• Experience with children or in a child-focused job is helpful but not required

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
