Responsibilities
- Work with the Stringer Machine to produce photovoltaic modules.
- Handle cells using proper techniques and load cells into stringer machines.
- Start and stop automatic operations under normal circumstances.
- Perform ribbon changes and two-hour cleanings in a timely manner.
- Track machine downtime and cell usage/waste.
- Understand and interpret String EL images to make quick, accurate decisions.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using HMI diagnostics to minimize downtime.
- Maintain compliance with quality and production standards through regular adjustments.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Collaborate effectively with other production team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or GED.
- Demonstrated technical capabilities and manufacturing experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided if necessary.
- Experience with HMI interfaces is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to maintain production and quality standards.
- Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with standing for long periods.
- Computer experience is considered an asset.
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
