About the role
5 Tool Performance is seeking a dedicated Strength and Conditioning Intern to learn how to assist and lead in athlete development, performance testing, and training implementation. This position offers hands-on experience in an advanced, data-driven training environment that blends biomechanics, physiology, and sport-specific performance — particularly in baseball.
Responsibilities
- Aid in daily training sessions across youth, high school, and college-level athletes.
- Support testing protocols including range of motion testing, jump profiling, and isometric strength assessments.
- Aid in data collection, organization, and athlete tracking and training.
- Help set up and maintain training equipment and technology.
- Observe, learn, and apply biomechanical and physiological principles in live sessions.
Requirements
- Strong anatomical understanding and foundational knowledge in Biology, Anatomy, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with athletes (preferred, not required).
- Passion for baseball and human performance.
- Excellent communication, observation, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn in a high-performance environment.

Pay
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour

3 Days per Week | 5–6 Hours per Day
