Intern
About the role
Our General Internship is a 10-week paid program designed for local High School or College students. Interns will be placed in a department that aligns with both company needs and individual career goals. Potential areas include Front Desk Operations, Guest Services, Property Management, Marketing, Food & Beverage (select locations), Maintenance Operations, and Corporate Support.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with guest services and front desk operations
- S supporting marketing initiatives, including social media and local outreach
- Participating in property tours and guest engagement activities
- Learning reservation and property management systems
- Assisting with maintenance coordination and property upkeep processes
- Supporting event planning and community activities
- Providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors
- Assisting with administrative and clerical tasks
- Supporting team projects and operational initiatives
- Learning and applying problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the property
- Completing special projects assigned by leadership
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service mindset with a positive attitude
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in hospitality, tourism, or property management preferred
Learning and Development
Interns are expected to actively engage in professional development opportunities throughout the program. This includes mentorship, hands-on learning, and exposure to multiple aspects of the hospitality industry.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a High School or College program
- Previous work experience or extracurricular involvement preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
Physical Demands
Interns may be required to sit, stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks. Some roles may involve outdoor work, lifting light objects, or assisting with on-site operations. Ability to work on a computer and communicate via phone for extended periods may be required. Attendance/Travel Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on department placement. Participation in company events and activities may be required.

Compensation
$16.90/Hour + Benefits listed above
