Stream and Wetland Delineator

About the role

Kleinfelder's Environmental team is seeking an experienced Stream and Wetland Delineator to join our EP&P Team in Bridgeport, WV. This position offers a great career-growth opportunity for an organized and energetic leader who can effectively collaborate with operational and business development leadership in our Eastern Division.

Responsibilities

• Lead stream and wetland delineations
• Conduct field work in difficult terrain
• Prepare permitting documents and reports
• Collaborate with operational and business development leadership

Requirements

• Self-starter with independent thinking skills
• Effective communication and independent task management
• Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
• Adept at technical writing and field data management
• Ability to engage directly with staff and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biological science, ecological science, environmental permitting, or related field
• 4-8 years of experience in environmental consulting, and/or regulatory agency employment in the region
• Professional Wetland Delineator and/or PWS certification a plus
• GIS experience a plus
