Main Responsibilities

• Extended periods of walking
• Laying materials in accordance with job specs
• Cleaning roadway surfaces as needed
• Operating a variety of equipment and vehicles, including the transportation of construction equipment and materials
• Maintaining traffic control including flagging duties
• Safely maintaining equipment and tools in good working condition
• Working in a team-oriented environment
• Assisting the crew with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• CDL preferred, must obtain within one year
• Previous highway experience preferred
• OSHA 10 Hour Training or Flagger Certification a Plus!
• Ability to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, and overnight travel with overnight stays
• Able to travel 75-90% of time
• Adhere to safety practices and procedures at all times
• Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
