About the role
We're looking for a highly driven Strategy & Operations Associate to join Topsort in Boston/Somerville office. This role sits at the intersection of operations, business execution, problem-solving, and company building. You'll work closely with the leadership across the company, helping turn ideas into action and ensuring important initiatives actually get done.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership team on strategic and operational initiatives across the business.
- Drive special projects from idea to execution, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring follow-through.
- Analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and help inform decision-making.
- Build processes, systems, and documentation that help the company scale.
- Support cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Product, Go-to-Market, and Engineering teams.
- Conduct research, gather data, and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
- Solve operational bottlenecks and improve how teams work together.
- Take ownership of projects that don't fit neatly into a single department but are critical to company growth.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in consulting, operations, business analysis, startups, finance, product operations, project management, or a related field.
- Recent graduates with exceptional academic or entrepreneurial are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with data analysis, AI tools or business intelligence platforms is a plus.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and operate under a fast paced environment with intensity.
- Fearless attitude - ability to dive into the unknown, research and quickly learn about a new topic and become a subject matter expert on it.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and figuring things out independently.
