Strategy Manager
About the role
We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Strategy to help shape the future direction of Sunkist Growers and Fruit Growers Supply Company (FGS). This highly visible role partners closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors to develop long-term strategic initiatives, evaluate growth opportunities, and lead cross-functional projects that drive meaningful business results. Responsibilities
- Lead the annual and long-term strategic planning process in partnership with executive leadership.
- Conduct competitive, market, and industry analyses to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Evaluate current business performance and new opportunities using financial modeling and strategic frameworks.
- Develop business cases and implementation plans for initiatives such as market expansion, new product categories, technology investments, partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify operational improvements and drive organizational efficiency.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure progress against strategic objectives.
- Communicate strategic priorities across the organization and translate complex concepts into actionable business plans.
- Lead strategic projects from concept through execution while managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
- Act as a change champion, helping teams embrace new initiatives and organizational priorities.
- Support executive presentations and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field required.
- MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of management consulting and/or corporate strategy experience, preferably within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Exceptional analytical skills, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and business case development.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience navigating complex and ambiguous business challenges.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and driven to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve business productivity is a plus.
